CE 2.5: Defective Caulking
Article type: Common ElementCaulking should be installed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. Caulking shall remain intact without de-bonding, cracking/splitting or showing other signs of premature strain within the warranty period. Profiling of caulking should accommodate anticipated movement at the sealed joint. Caulking must cure as anticipated in the manufacturer’s specifications. All joints shown in the design to be caulked shall be caulked.
