Toilets (water closets) shall flush waste into the drainage system.

Newer low-volume toilets, which are required for new homes by the Building Code, use less water to flush waste than older models, making their operation more sensitive to the effects of the: · amount of waste · amount of paper · volume of water in the tank. As a result, multiple flushes may be required.
